A Week in Garden Photos – April 17th- 23rd

It was a really good week for gardening, the chickens, Lucy and for me. Lot’s of sunshine with a few bouts of rain here and there but for the most part, the weather was pretty nice.

I planted potatoes, thinned the radishes, harvested a few stalks of rhubarb, dyed some wool and just enjoyed being outside in general. So much so that I didn’t even get in my car and drive anywhere all of last week. I honestly can’t remember a time {if ever} I have stayed home for an entire week. It. Was. Amazing.  You should try it. It’s funny, as I get older, not only do I need less, but there’s less I want to do.

Just being in the moment, and enjoying what’s around you. It’s magical.

Have a wonderful week everyone,

~Mavis

Ditto to your sentiments. I could happily stay home for months on end needing only a few necessities like fresh bread, milk and butter…oh and wine. I find my personal heaven at home.
