A Week in Garden Photos – April 10th-16th

Lucy’s back in business. As a chicken mama that is. I figured since we still have a little time left on our sentence here in high maintenance suburbia, it was high time to have some fun. And anyways… life is too short to care about what other people think. Especially what goes on behind your own garden gates.

Spring. It’s here. The sunshine is back, and fresh veggies are around the corner. Who could ask for more?

Have a wonderful Easter sunday.

~Mavis

Oh, I thought maybe the HOA would not ALLOW you to keep chickens. Glad to see you and Miss Lucy have them again.

I saw Lucy in the cage and was aghast!! Precious Garden Princess Lucy in a cage?? Noooooo! Then I saw the second photo of the baby chicks and knew that the cage is to protect the chickens, not for our darling Lucy! Whew!
