I would lose my mind with the cutting board. Please give us the final answer from the jury. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Farmer Ted. A friend of ours usually brings the HH 2 big boxes every August and it lasts us an entire year. ๐Ÿ™‚

At least college kids finally leave the nest. In my family, hubby never picks up anything. Once my college age boys and I had a bet about how long it would take hubby to pick up a huge mess he made. Youngest son said 6 months, oldest son said “never…it will be here until Mom caves and finally picks it up!” Ha Ha how true…I did finally pick it up. Good thing he’s lovable in other ways!

You should try making some corn cob jelly once your done with the corn. It sounds so interesting… my husband thinks I’m crazy, but it’s on my to try list.

I also like to make corn stock from the boiled cobs. It’s pretty tasty for a vegetable soup or chowder if you’d like a pronounced corn taste.

A neighbor I had years ago told me she had made corn cob jelly during the Depression (nothing goes to waste). She said it tasted like apple jelly. I’ve tried making it but it sounds interesting
