starbucks

Free tea and berries? Yes please!

The Girl and I walked to Starbucks yesterday to redeem a {free} gift card for some passion fruit iced tea. On the way back home we filled our cups with blackberries.

baby clothesCan someone please tell me why I’ve been hanging on to a box of 20 year old baby clothes?

painting

Doesn’t everyone paint with a coat on and a blanket wrapped around themselves?

beans

Beans. Round 3.

cucumbers

I’m pretty sure I’ll be the last person on the planet to harvest cucumbers this year.

oreganoAnd last but not least… the oregano is going to seed. Isn’t that marvelous? I’m hoping that next year I’ll have an entire garden bed full of the stuff growing alongside the house.

Have a great weekend everyone,

~Mavis

I would paint dressed just like that…..in the dead of winter…..I’m actually burning up here now, though. I hope you haven’t thrown out the baby clothes yet! You kept them because they reminded you of your babies. Cut them up and make a quilt out of them. You will treasure it always and it’s something you can use! If anyone can do it, you can!

Mavis what kind of drop cloth is that? It looks perfect to use instead of the big one I have.
