Lucy the puggle princess and I worked on filling in the arborvitae hedge on the upper lawn today. I picked up a few 7 gallon trees at The Home Depot a couple of weeks ago for $12.99 each and just now got around to installing them.
I told myself I was waiting for the real fall weather to kick in {rain} so I didn’t have to water them. But really I was hoping if I left them there long enough the HH would plant them for me. 😉 But he didn’t.
And anyway, I have Lucy to help me dig holes, right? All I have to do is get the holes started with my Flexrake and Lucy the digging machine does the rest.
I’m hoping in two years time the arborvitae hedge will be filled in and I can have it pruned {professionally} to a height about a foot above the fence line. With any luck and a lot of Tagro, I think the backyard will have a nice, private feel about it for years to come.
Keep calm and garden on,
~Mavis

Tagro seems to be equivalent to Milorganite which is made here where I live. Great stuff!
