I have tried to grow potatoes for years and couldn’t get a thing. I tried just about every kind of way to grow them and got one or two, MAYBE, the size of quarters. Last year I threw the seed potatoes I bought in the compost bin because it was too late to plant them. Got a bumper crop this year, lol.
Now, sweet potatoes, I can grow. Harvested 20lbs this fall from just a few plants.. You have to cure them and I rigged up a large plastic cooler to do it. Put some water in the bottom with a grate over it and the potatoes on top of the grate and then put my heating pad in it. The heat and humidity required was perfect, lol.
