may ebookIt really is true that April showers bring May flowers…and veggies…and fruit.  Everything is alive again–and while I am lucky enough to be surrounded by green pines all year long, I don’t realize how much I miss life being in full color until you I it again after a long winter.

Sometime in May, my garden will be completely in.  All I really have to do after that is weed and water.  Even with very little maintenance in the garden, you can bet that it will be hard to keep me inside for very long.  I can’t wait to feel the sun on my shoulders again.  This year, I have plenty of yard improvement projects to keep me busy.  I’ll probably comb Home Depot for markdowns on flowers with the tenacity of a crack addict.

May’s gardening eBook will guide you through getting the kids involved in the garden, building your own trellis for those climbing beans and peas, and provide a detailed troubleshooting guide for any garden pests and problems that might crop up as the weather gets warmer.  If you didn’t start your garden from seed {no judgement}, I’ll even guide you through picking out the healthiest vegetable starts at your local nursery.  It’s going to be jam-packed with excitement and thrill, I tell ya, so prepare yourself.

Now get out there and Dig For Your Dinner,

~ Mavis
