Even though February has the fewest days out of any month, for me it’s the longest. I am itching to get outside. I want to feel the sun on my shoulders and the dirt in my hands. Usually, Mother Nature insists otherwise. Winter weather keeps me dreaming about digging in the dirt from the comfort of my climate controlled house. Lucky for me, Mother Nature did not anticipate me having a grow light and the gardening tenacity of a Pitbull.
By the time the end of the month rolls around, I will have quite a few of my slow growing plants started and thriving. Come planting season, most of my veggie starts will be big and strong like ox {please read in your best German accent}. I’ll have my garden labels ready and a big batch of compost brewing. If my neighborhood HOA weren’t so organized and strong, I’d also have a flock of backyard chickens happily turning over the soil out in the backyard, but since they are, I’ll have to settle for telling you how to start your own little flock of self-sufficiency.
February’s eBook will provide a detailed guide on all of the seeds you should be starting for your early spring garden. You’ll get the scoop on compost, chickens, pruning those dormant fruit trees, and even ways to bring gardening indoors until the weather lets up. It’s a page-turner, I promise!
Now get out there and Dig For Your Dinner,

So, Mavis, I’ve been following you for a while, and am just so excited to read your “Dig for you Dinner” e-books.. but then again, I just despise e-books. Please please tell me you plan on getting the collection into print at the end of the year. I really want to curl up in the recliner and read away the evening with a nice hard-cover version.

Actually, I haven’t thought about that yet. Great idea though. 🙂
