There’s a set of cherry trees in the neighborhood I absolutely adore. I’ll go a mile out of my way on my morning walk just to pass by them in the springtime. When in bloom, the pink and white blossoms cover the street and it looks like it’s snowing in front of the grey shingled house where they are planted.
I love the house, probably because it has a New England type look/feel to it and the flower beds are gorgeous year round. See that trellis? I want to try and recreate it this year. I think it would look amazing with pole beans growing up the sides, don’t you?
Even though the cherry trees in front of my favorite house were not in bloom… there are several others bursting with color in the neighborhood right now. It’s the perfect time of year to get outside and go walking in the early morning hours with a camera to snap some photos.
“Came the Spring with all its splendor, All its birds and all its blossoms, All its flowers, and leaves, and grasses.” ―Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
Have a great day everyone,
