daffodils

We had a nice little break in the weather yesterday so Lucy the puggle princess and I headed outside to dig up a few mini daffodils. I tend to plant spring bulbs every other year and on the years I do plant bulbs, I make sure to plant a few extra in pots so I can enjoy them indoors during late winter.

Last year wasn’t a planting year… so I had to steal a few from the backyard.

No I can enjoy some flowers on the stormy days without going outside. 😉

How are your spring bulbs doing? Are they almost ready to bloom?

I live in the Niagara region of Ontario. We’re still in the middle of winter. Spring weather won’t officially be here until at least April
I grew up on Vancouver Island so we had weather like yours. I miss the milder winters and early springs.

    We live in southern Tennessee.
Hyacinths, tulips and daffodils are peeking out of the ground and the pansies are beginning to perk up!

This is something I always think about doing and then never actually get around to. Thanks for the inspiration!

My spring bulbs are still under snow. But it’s supposed to be 60 this weekend so I’ve very excited to get out in the yard and do some cleaning.
