Sunshine is in the forecast today and so I’ve decided to put all my cleaning and painting duties aside and spend the day in the garden. Shocking, I know. 😉
It’s strange, almost every single day since I’ve been here there has been something to do, somewhere to go, but today…. nothing.
Tomorrow I’ll head to the Farmer’s market, tuesday I’ll have lunch with friends, and maybe next saturday I’ll make the long drive to the rug hooking store I discovered online last night.
But for now… I’ll play in the garden.
Weeding and thinning my little patch of green goodness.
Life. Is. Good.
Have a great weekend everyone,
~Mavis and Lucy

I thought of you yesterday. I was in a thrift store on Vancouver Island and saw wool blankets for $3.00 each – Canadian dollars so a real bargain for you. You might have to make a trip here before you make that final move to the East Coast. Enjoy your day in the garden.

$3? I would have bought them up lickety split!!

Have you ever tried to grow potatos from seeds? I read it’s easy and exciting because every grain brings a unique, new varities. (Sorry for my worse english, hope you understand)
Mavis Butterfield says
Yes! I love trying new varieties.
